The Lagrange Development Corporation (LDC) was formed in 1981 to improve the quality of life for residents and businesses in the historic Polish International Village in Toledo's old north end. In 2010 LDC formally merged with the NorthRiver Development Corporation (NRDC) to become United North. The trade boundaries of United North encompass all of the Olde North End and is now formally called ONE Village.

To be the collective force in enhancing the lives of all residents and creating a thriving environment for businesses in the Lagrange-Stickney community.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The completion of the neighborhood’s first new housing subdivision in nearly 100 years — Heritage Village — and over 130 existing homes renovated |

Over $150,000 invested in free exterior paint for more than 300 homeowners |

Over $500,000 in new streetscape improvements on Lagrange Street, the neighborhood’s central commercial corridor |

The rehabilitation of several commercial buildings including a $1.3 million renovation of four buildings in the 2800 block of Lagrange Street, The Shoppes On Lagrinka |

The implementation of Toledo’s first “Main Street” program focusing on business district revitalization including business retention and recruitment, marketing and promotions, and design standards |

The establishment of the Lagrange Village Council – Toledo’s first grassroots community activist organization affiliated with a community development corporation |
