This 156-unit project was built for senior housing in 1971 and converted into a multi-family and handicapped facility in the 1980s to better meet the needs of the community. It is slated for a $9.8 million renovation in 2009. The target population is the elderly and handicapped. It is now owned by a limited partnership that includes United North and Millenia Housing Development, Ltd.
Financing is being provided by the City of Toledo, the State of Ohio, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Development team members include Millennia Housing Development, Ltd. (developer), Millennia Housing Management (project manager), National City Community Development Corporation (tax credit investor), American Preservation Buildings LLC (contractor), and Love Funding Corporation (FHA/HUD lender).
